The VE892 is an HDMI optical fiber extension that exceeds the length restrictions of traditional HDMI cables. High-definition Audio-visual signals can be sent over the optical fiber at long distance.

The VE892 receives audiovisual data from a local signal source and serializes them to transmit through a single 3.125 Gbps fiber (for resolutions up to 1080p to 60 Hz and 24 bits of chromatic depth).
